Following are some of our Retail projects.

Elm Street, Danvers, MA

Owner: D&L Ventures
Architect: Siemasko and Verbridge
Construction Manager: R.C. Griffin, Inc.
Project Summary: R.C. Griffin, Inc. was the construction manager for this detail orientated project. The project included the demolition of an existing Knights of Columbus building, and the construction of a new 6,000 sf. building for retail stores. The building was hailed by Danvers officials as a model project for the downtown area.

J.B. Sash & Door

Owner: J.B. Sash and Door
Architect: UK Architects
General Contractor: R.C. Griffin, Inc.
Project Summary: This project transformed a section of an existing warehouse to an elaborate 2 story Marvin Door and Window Showroom. The showroom illustrates the latest windows in a practical display. Along with a wooden stairway this showroom displays the complete line of products that J.B. Sash offers.

Verizon Wireless - Verizon FiOS Retail Store at Jordan’s Furniture

Architect: Gruskin Architecture + Design
General Contractor: R.C. Griffin, Inc.
Project Summary: This project involved transforming 3100sf of vacant space into a state-of-the-art retail store, showcasing Verizon’s FiOS technology. R.C. Griffin, Inc. set and maintained goals of minimal disruption to the Jordan’s Furniture operations, as well as the tight scheduling required for the store’s grand-opening on the day after Thanksgiving (the busiest shopping day of the year).

Verizon Wireless - Verizon FiOS Store Lynn, MA

Project Summary: This project involved the transformation of 2000s.f. of vacant space into a state-of-the-art retail store, showcasing Verizon’s FiOS technology.

One Sylvan Street Peabody

Owner: James Veliskakis
Architect: Demarco and Associates
General Contractor/ Construction Manager: R.C. Griffin, Inc.
Project Summary: Construct new 14,000 s.f. two story retail store This new retail building was built on the site of an existing retail strip mall which was home to a number of businesses dating back to the turn of the century. With that history, the site had a number of environmental and geological issues to face and overcome. Through solid construction management, the new structural steel frame and EIFS facade building was built on schedule.

North Shore Marble & Granite

Owner: North Shore Marble and Granite
Architect: Keyes Associates
General Contractor: R.C. Griffin, Inc.
Project Summary: This new 10,000 square foot building was completed in October 2000. It was constructed for North Shore Marble and Granite, Inc. for their new retail and manufacturing facility. R.C. Griffin, Inc also recently completed the build-out of the new Marvin Window and Door Showroom by Gove Lumber at this facility.
